Crikey it's cold!
It seems like Summer has officially flown the nest and Winter's teeth are nipping closely at Autumn's fingers. It's cold. Really cold. Fighting the urge to turn the heating on ... although jiggling up and down for warmth is proving tough due to a majestically damaged knee. I think it went something like weeeeee, swish, swish, heel-edge turn, ice, splat, impact side of 1 knee, 11stone of human hurtles to the ground, landing excrutiatingly on a one inch patch of knee. Yark.
Just call me Limpy Mcgee. I may sell the bruise pictures as some form of modern art. Certainly colourful that's for sure!
So I swiftly darted from being a fully fledged permenant Employee on a difficult wage, to being a freelance Contractor with a tad more ker-ching doing an awesome Production Editor role for a HUGE Games company. I fear greatly that this job is going to squee away into the darkness and leave me crying in a heap as I fail epically at it. But we'll see. For now I am exactly where I want to be and I have to put every inch of my body and soul into and make it work. Wish me luck ... I need it. It really is THE most awesome thing that has happened to me ... save possibly a small wedding and the discovery of snowboarding.
